    Hi,
    How to set up tracking of users through GAnalytics on 301 redirect?

    E.g.
    www..xyz..com -> (301 redirect) -> www..anotherdomain..com (here runs GA)

    At this moment, the users are tracked as direct AFAIK.

    Any ideas?

    I want to track traffic from a 301-redirected domain. How do I do this?

    If you are permanent (301) redirecting the abc.com to xyz.com, then you could not track the traffic of abc.com.
    Because whenever, one go to abc.com, he will be forced to go to xyz.com and your analytics code will not be executed..:)

    Yes, I thought so.

    Is there any other way how to track the traffic on the second domain? It sounds weird that it is not possible.

    Thanks a lot manish.chauhan
