So right now I have a huge list of affiliates and I'm trying to narrow down which ones I want to use. One of the products I'm thinking about trying is something other than an article. The problem I'm having with it is there are multiple companies making it and other companies are selling it. Do I list the separate the product in terms of the maker or the affiliate website selling it? In other words, XYZ selling ABC widgets and XYZ selling DEF widgets. Or should I do ABC widgets and DEF widgets?
Wow, $100k? Wouldnt mind a peice of that. I have about six month to get to a position I am earning from IM. I can spend probably 2-3 hours a day. Do you think this is enough time and hours? Bit overwhelemed at the moment but keen to get started.
Well from what I'm reading on here, now 2-3 hours a day isn't nearly enough to make good money from this stuff. I'm currently spending about 4 hours on a good night and I barely find myself geting anything done. I'm just trying to stay productive. Right now I'm still doing research of what products I want and contacting possible affiliates. I think having a decent sized list will help me to optimize the campaigns in the future and replace poor converting ones with better affiliates. The only thing I'm worried about is when to recognize that an affiliate is not performing and whe n to replace it.
You have a nice goal to make money online, But can you tell me what type of affiliate is this?? I couldn't able to understand even if i read all the post here in this thread, may i don't have any experience in this area, If you tell me, it would help me to make some money online, I am struggling to make it out. Thanks
How so? I was trying to be optimistic in suggesting he could do it more quickly, but I wouldn't say it was ignorant. He seems motivated, driven, and (best of all) smart -- enough for me to assume he will do well very quickly, as I did.
Unfortunately, I'm not divulging exact information on how I got so high very quickly, but suffice it to say I highly recommend the two networks in my signature.
Well guys, as for my plans, Im trying to figure that out as well. Dont know a whole lot about this. Just picking something and running with it. I've done a good amount of research and will hopefully be launching these pages in about a few days. When I look for affiliates, Im just looking for who will satisfy my goals the best and who is providing the best product for the money to the potential customer.
One question I do have is to get approved by Commission Junction. Do I have to have a working website in order to get approved? How does it work? If Im setting up an affiliate website for the first time, obviously Im not going to have a website ready for them. Either I lie to them and say Im using a different website, give them on a nonexisting one (makes no sense), or give them the one I plan to use.
IF the site you submit to commission junction already have ads or affiliate links, will that make them likely to turn you down?
wow!! Nice thread!! People do share information on your progress so that I can learn from it. I am starting out on affiliate marketing too..I have built several e commmerce website for others but never one for myself. So I decided that I will stop what I do and invest my whole time to developing affiliate websites. I will create a thread and explain my progress as well. DP is great. I dont know what I would have done
I think you may be setting your goals a bit low at $250/day for 3 months? Why not challenge youself and set it at say $500/day, then it will give you incentive to push harder and you may end up actually reaching it?
Dont know why it should, many people have review style sites selling affliate products from different networks.
I haved recentl dulged into CPA and it has been one of the best moves id made. It with def be the staple of my income this year. Matty
