    This is brutal.

I'm sitting here in my place, trying to work.

Except it's below 0, and I've got gloves on. And it's not easy to type with gloves.

    Grr.

I think gloves must be even worse than fingernails, for typing ...

The rest of the house gets heat. My room doesn't. I'm going to light a campfire pretty soon.

There's no risk of breaking them by accident though.

They did, but I was trying to warm my hands up over an open fire, and the fingers caught fire a few times.

Something about a broken heater. I've had to burn 50 and 100 dollar bills for warmth for the past 4 hours, so I'm thinking that I'll have to work a little harder than usual tomorrow.

I used to have a job where my office was at the back of a store and it would always get really cold back there in the winter. I used to try to type with gloves on too.

You need a little space heater. Or at least a candle next to your keyboard so you can warm up your fingers over the flame. :p

They are! I've done both and gloves are definitely the worst!

Space heater, a very good idea, actually. I'll go buy one today or tomorrow.

Candle, I'm not Amish, buffalo, come on :)

What?! I like candles. :p And they are cheaper than a space heater, and more likely to be laying around the house. You could use one until you get a chance to go out and buy the new heater. :D
