Stolen Domain Name

Just realized an important domain name of mine was 'Pending Deletion' a few days ago.

Today when I checked, it was registered by an obvious cyber-squatter

What can I do to get back the domain? The funny thing is though this is a near life-less domain, the cyber-squatter was still interested in it

Forgot to mention that I am in the Far East :)

    Thanks in advance.

as far as I understand you are out of luck if you let it expire. I belive you have a decent amount of time while it is Pending.

But as far as I know it is his now... So it really wasn't stolen. You just "Lost it".

    Should be a valuable lesson.

Care to share the domain name ? Perhaps by Private message? I am curious of what it is.

i like how the new owner is a cybersquatter... you had over a month to renew it...

it wasn't stolen, you are simply negligent and obviously didn't care enough and now want to complain.

Do not visit the domain but keep checking the whois for the next 5 days. "Cyber squatters" can return the domain within 5 days at no cost. Many hold them for 5 days to test and see if they can generate revenue and traffic.

For some reason I get your PM in my email but it is not showing via Digital Point.

Sure get back to me next week or whatever. It makes sense not to trust anyone.

I would be very surprised if they are just tasting it though.
