I am looking to connect with someone who provides signup services. I would like to hook up with someone for long term. If you can provide signup services for email submit offers, zip code submit offers, education offers with email confirmations And all other types of signup offers. Then contact me with the types of signup services you provide along with your prices for different types of signup offers. Also if you can provide targeted signups like US, UK etc. That would be great. So if you offer signup services please contact me for long term client.

    What is oDesk?

oDesk is an online staffing marketplace and management platform that provides a convenient way to hire, manage, and pay individuals no matter where they are located. Hiring managers can post jobs and hire from thousands of ranked and certified service providers for time-based work or fixed-price projects. oDesk tools empower users to manage providers as if they were in the same office, and verify and pay only for actual work performed.

Is this a job board site?

Not exactly. oDesk has a "job board", but it's much more than that. The job board serves as a means to connect buyers with high quality providers to work on any sort of jobs, but the oDesk tools help users get the most out of their relationship.

    Is this outsourcing?

Well, not exactly. When companies "outsource," they typically dump the project on an outside contractor and expect all the management to be done by someone else. At oDesk, we believe buyers and providers get the best results when they collaborate throughout the project and work just as local employees work; communicating daily and reviewing work together.

    =Hiring:

    How "good" are the providers?

With tens of thousands of professionals, oDesk's provider community offers a range of skills and capabilities. oDesk gives users tools including free online testing, feedback scores, portfolios, job preferences and more to evaluate and differentiate among users. These tools have helped hundreds of buyers and providers form long-lasting work relationships of over a year.

Do I need to post a job to use oDesk?

To hire a provider, you must first post a job. Jobs can be posted privately if you do not wish to make your posting available to the entire oDesk network. You can also sign up with oDesk to join the referral program or use some of the free collaboration tools without posting a job.

    How do I contact providers?

Two ways. After you post a job, you can either invite providers to interview using the "Invite to Interview" button on their profile, or you can wait for providers to apply to your job and select them for interview.

How do I select a candidate?

We suggest interviewing several providers and only hiring a provider with whom you feel comfortable. Once you hire a provider, we always recommend setting frequent milestones and constantly measuring performance.

How do I write a good job post?

We recommend that you take some time to plan out exactly what you need done. The more specific you are, the more likely you are to find a provider who will meet your needs. You may browse previous job listings to get a sense of what buyers have posted before.

Should I post an hourly or fixed price job?

It depends. oDesk recommends hourly jobs for most ongoing work efforts, but fixed price jobs can be appropriate for smaller, well-defined projects.

What is the difference between freelancers and affiliates?

A key difference in the oDesk network is that ALL work is completed by individuals rather than companies, but many of the individuals are affiliated with larger service companies. Freelancers work by themselves, affiliated contractors work as part of a company of two or more providers. Click on the affiliate name in the profile to see details about the company.

What kind of work is done here?

We're often surprised by the ever-increasing variety of work completed on oDesk. The biggest category is web development, next is software development. But, other areas are growing rapidly including writing, QA, graphic design, systems admin, and more.

    =Managing:

Are most jobs successful on oDesk?

The average feedback score for providers is over a 4.5 out of 5.0 and in customer satisfaction surveys, over 80% of all buyers would refer oDesk to their friends or colleagues. We're always striving to continue to improve customer satisfaction. If you discover something we can do better, please let us know in the Forums.

How do I assign and track tasks?

Any way you want, but consider using Bugzilla 2.20 which is automatically set up for free with each oDesk team.

How do I communicate with my provider?

Up to you. But there are some really cool oDesk tools to help you out. The ScreenSnap feature is very convenient for communicating requirements or sharing changes, oDesk Share is great for real-time desktop sharing, and email, chat, and phones still work the same in oDesk as they do everywhere else. Provider's contact information including an email address and Yahoo chat ID will be shared as soon as an interview is started.

How do I know how much work the provider did?

We're so glad you asked. The Work Diary gives you unprecedented visibility into work performed by capturing screenshots, activity logs, and work memos for every 10 minutes of work. This tracking guarantees convenient, safe, and accurate billing for all work perfomed on hourly jobs.

Can I use the oDesk tools with non-oDesk users?

Sure, please do. You can register for an account without posting a job and then utilize the tools for your personal use or even add some of your colleagues to your new oDesk account. Just keep us in mind when you need additional resources and we hope you'll post a job.

Does oDesk guarantee the quality of work?

We do everything that we can to ensure successful results, but ultimately, there is no way that we can *guarantee* the quality of work. We believe the buyer and the provider have a shared responsibility to work toward a successful outcome and oDesk's role is to provide all the tools and support possible to help.

    =Paying:

-How much does it cost to join oDesk?

It is absolutely free for both buyers and providers.

How much does the work cost?

What you see is what you pay. The hourly rate listed in a provider profile is the total amount that you pay as a buyer. There are no other fees. Ever. If you agreed to a fixed price job, the total amount agreed is your only cost.

    How do I pay oDesk?

Most buyers pay oDesk via credit card, but if that doesn't work for you, please contact support. We can accept payments via ACH, check, or wire.

How do I get billed by oDesk?

Billing is easy on oDesk. When providers are logging in time through the hourly system, oDesk Team keeps track of every hour worked. After a three day review window at the end of each week, We bill you and charge your credit card for all approved hours tracked in our system. For Fixed Price projects, we charge your credit card the day the assignment is complete.

    How does oDesk make money?

Awww, shucks, thanks for thinking of us. oDesk does take 10% of the total charge rate and the rest of the payment is guaranteed to the provider.

Do I have to pay upfront or pay when the assignment is done?

With hourly projects, you are billed at the end of every week and your credit card is charged automatically. With Fixed Price jobs, you pay when you end the assignment. We also give you the option to pay in several installments if the Fixed Price job may take a long time to complete.

What if there is a dispute?

It's rare, but sometimes there are disagreements between buyers and providers and there is a dispute over the number of hours worked. We encourage buyers and providers to work out the problem, but oDesk will step in and moderate if there is a need. oDesk will not evaluate the quality of work, but will focus on a careful review of all time logged to ensure the provider was working on your job and following all policies and best practices. Fixed price jobs are paid solely at the buyer's discretion.

How does oDesk protect intellectual property (IP)?

Every registered provider in the oDesk network has a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with oDesk. That contractual protection is passed to the buyer on any active oDesk assignment as long as work and payment are performed through oDesk. See the NDA. Additionally, you may send your own NDA directly to any provider.

Can I limit the number of hours?

Certainly. You can set a weekly limit on the number of hours that any provider works for you. You can also modify this limit at any time if you and your provider change the work load or expectations. You can review hours worked over the limit, but they will not be billed to you.

Do you have a referral program?

Sure do. Love oDesk and want to share it with your friends and colleagues? We'll pay you for it. When a referred user earns or spends $1,000 on oDesk, we'll give you $50. Sounds great, doesn't it?

    =Getting Hired:

How do I get a job?

A couple of things we recommend: First, post a profile and fill in your past work history and skills. Take a few online tests to verify your skills. Start applying for jobs! Try out small projects first to accrue feedback and then go after the bigger fish.

What kind of buyers are here?

Most oDesk buyers are managers at small to medium-sized IT businesses that are looking for providers for everything from small fixed-price projects to long-term relationships of a year or more.

How long does it take to get a job?

The first job is always the hardest, it can take some time and persistence to build an impressive profile and acquire your first job. Take free online certifications to increase your job application limit and write detailed custom cover letters and you should be able to ge a job within 1-4 weeks.

How can I improve my profile?

Take as many certification tests as possible, upload work samples to your portfolio, include a portrait, and spend time editing and refining the text in your profile. Check the forums for more advice.

How do I know which buyers are good?

Check out the feedback other providers have left for the buyers and take a look at the number of paid jobs they've completed on oDesk. We also encourage providers to ensure that there is a good fit during the interview process.

Should I bid on hourly or fixed price jobs?

Whichever you prefer. Most long-term relationships are done on an hourly basis, but fixed-price projects may be a great way to get started with your first oDesk jobs.

Can my company provide services on oDesk?

Of course. You can sign up as the manager of your company to become an oDesk Affiliate. Then add individuals from your company to your company roster and bid on jobs. All rates and payments will be in your control as the manager.

    =Working:

What is oDesk Team? Do I need to use it?

oDesk Team is a proprietary program that automatically keeps track of your time when you are signed in and working on a job. If you are working on hourly jobs, you need to run oDesk Team in order to log "online" hours you are billing to oDesk buyers.

Can I get full time work?

Sure, lots of people do. Build up your oDesk reputation and satisfy buyers and you may soon find yourself in full-time engagement.

    How does feedback work?

At the end of any assignment, buyers and providers are able to leave feedback on each other by rating performance in 6 different categories and leaving appropriate comments. Feedback is publicly visible by default, but the comments may be made private by the users.

How do I deliver the work?

oDesk provides an optional source code repository, Subversion (SVN), that you may use to upload deliverables, or you and your buyer can arrange for any other means of delivery.

How do I communicate with my buyer?

It will depend on the job, but we suggest using email and chat as frequently as possible to stay in communication. Every provider receives an @odesk.com email address that forwards to your personal address and contact info is exchanged through the oDesk system.

    =Getting Paid:

What is the Guaranteed Payment policy?

We guarantee payment for hours logged through oDesk Team on hourly projects. If you do your work (and only your work — surfing YouTube doesn't count!), payment is guaranteed.

How can oDesk guarantee payment to providers?

We give buyers a series of tools to manage the work being done by providers. If the time is being logged correctly, the provider is doing relevant work and filling out accurate Work Memos, and staying in touch with the buyer, we assume the work logged is valid and bill the buyer.

How much money can I make?

That's all up to you. Earning a good reputation and high feedback scores in the network can help you achieve dramatic earnings growth of as much as 4x or 5x your starting hourly rate.

How can I receive my payments?

We've made it easy for you to get paid, no matter where you are. For U.S.-based providers, we can deposit your earnings directly into your bank account. For US or international providers, we offer MoneyBookers, wire transfers — and the favorite of many providers — the oDesk debit MasterCard powered by Payoneer, which works everywhere a regular MasterCard would work.

What is the pay rate for a professional like me?

Depends. Check out the profiles and pay rates of other providers that share the same skills to get an estimate. Other factors matter, too: Providers with a lot of experience and feedback can charge more on oDesk.

    What about taxes?

As a buyer, you do not need to pay any additional taxes if you're purchasing services through oDesk. U.S.-based providers fill out a W-9 form and 1099s are provided at the end of the year. International providers are responsible for reporting their earnings to the appropriate tax agencies.
