i Got BSNL IP TV connection and it is great service in india any body is using ip tv services in india thanks
wow....did not know IPTV roll out was already ON.... Do share your experience as regards to the quality....and the price info. Is it possible to subscribe to a single channel? Regards, RightMan
Well I guess you are choose wrong option despite of some other good services. Bharti IPTV just launched yesterday while Reliance IPTV already working in big cities. In BSNL IPTV sometimes due to low speed, your picture may be freeze for while. You might go with DTH which a good option.
Yes I have it for last 4 weeks. Service is ok. I also had dishtv. sometimes I feel that there is a time gap of 10-12 seconds dishtv is lagging behind. Important 1. Get a Type II modem. type I creates problem. BSNL is providing it for Rs.1664/- If you have Type I already then just pay difference Rs.624/- for type II modem. And you know what the guy who installed type II at my place didn't took type I with him. So I have both modems and I paid only the difference Rs. 624/- 2. After installing STB and type II modem although u may be able to see the TV but there are frequent 83% errors and there is a big delay in display when u change channels. 3. As soon as STB is installed insist on modem settings at the same time. Its fun after modem is customised. 4. BSNL charges Rs.999/- as refundable security deposit for STB. If you guys have any question I try to help. doyi
I think its due to difference in currency cost, though both have Rupee, there is difference in INR and PAK currency.
I satisfy with service provide here, it has improve lots, it is proiding the 127 chanels in rupees 120, also best feature is "video on demand" that works like you are wtching the movie on dvd with play, pause, forward and reverse option. Rightman - there is only one package available so cant possible to subscribe one channel as far as cost concern bsnl is good, i am living on rent so in dth when ever i shift i need to pay installation charges.
that really cheap. Are these paid channels like star, sony and zee. ? I hope Tata broadband also launches iptv soon
