Are Clickbank links not recording sales?? anyone else worried?

    Hello All !
I started a blog back in November/08, after the first 4 weeks, I had about 5 transactions with the first 100 click-throughs...
Since then, December and January, my traffic has doubled using adwords and I have well over 200 Click-throughs to the same and more links, but no sales??
I did add some tracking ID's to the links, but nothing else has changed..

Is clickbank just not recording sales and paying? or????

    Getting worried here..

Yes we are worried its been a huge discussion here on DP. The payment processor is having issues in its interaction with Pay Pal. Some here are considering other options such as paydotcom. I ran a test and I saw the same fluctuations with paydotcom for the same niche so I am sticking with CB for now. Good Luck and God Bless.

Read from these stats what you will.

    01/01/09 - 10/01/09 = 1000 hops = 14 sales = 1/71

    10/01/09 - 20/01/09 = 914 hops = 2 sales = 1/457

That is across many different niches, many different sites, some with TID tracking but most without. The downturn seemed suspiciously to coincide with the paypal outage on 8 Jan 2009 that Clickbank warned of.

How on earth anyone can make a consistent income from CB is beyond me!

You make me sick! Just kidding.

Good growth there, how much of that is publisher earnings or is that all affiliate?

I've actually hard that from a few affiliates of mine. Really makes you worry. A lot of people are moving away from ClickBank because of it.

ive turned off all my ppc for a while so my account has been rather dismal this year. but i have seen a drop in the second date range check it out.

    01/01/09 - 10/01/09 = 813 hops = 15 sales = 1/54

    11/01/09 - 20/01/09 = 1232 hops = 5 sales = 1/246

mare! when ive stopped working at the Australian Open i will have all my time back so i can get stuck back into it. but still, thats some lame stats right there.

The one thing that I noticed on some publishers is they are in such a hurry to capture the 'potential customers' email by offereing a free sampler etc.. but what happens 5 days or 2 weeks down the track when the publisher contacts them and offers a last ditch offer.. click here... and guess what I bet you that click here included in the auto responder emails does not have your CB nick in it.

So you bring the customer to the site, and then dont get paid as remember I thinks its the last referrer to the site that CB pays on.
