In other words, basically because majority of the civilians there are against Israel, they are enemy just as Hamas members which is your justification of killing them is basically what your saying. All I'm basically saying is that don't use the "They hide behind civilians as your justification in killing them." In your case though you don't see some anything wrong in killing them. Which doesn't really conflict to anything I've said. Because all I am saying and going to say in this thread is don't saying killing them is wrong but it's not my fault because Hamas is standing beside them. That just doesn't cut it, there's no linking premise to make it a valid arguement.
Because the rockets are inaccurate, they don't purposefully target schools, and couldn't even if they wanted to. And lastly, the majority of the rockets came from rural areas, Israel confirms this and this is one of the first places they secured to suppress further rocket attacks. They didn't come from "behind children"
What are they targeting then? You fire a weapon haphazardly at any human or dwelling, "targeted" or not, you are still doing something wrong. Yeah, actually they did. They were fired from civilian locations in an effort to thwart Israel's attempts at defending itself. Welcome to reality.
Fighting among civilians in a densely populated area is one thing, but intentionally hiding behind them is another. In an ideal situation they would all be fighting in a remote jungle somewhere off the face of the Earth... It's true, like when a tank shell randomly hit a school in Gaza and killed quadruple the amount of people in one single day that all 6,000+ rocket attacks combined have killed. I will agree with you there, its wrong. lol well so much for that, we all know that doesn't work now does it?
The root cause of the problem stems from a religion hell bent on killing Jews. There is no denying that.
Hamas was funded and partially created by israel. Hamas also has so much corruption it isnt funny. MIA the root of the problem is the settlements which you seem to be ignoring as usual. If we can focus on this main issue I think there can be a peace by moderate leaders on both sides. I have always believed that an unbiased, moderate and factual view on this situation has always been best for peace. Not supporting one side's extremists over the other. If they want peace the moderate leaders of both countries should get together on a global stage and create an unbiased debate. This way the world can see things in an unbiased way with only facts to look at. Hamas is just as corrupt as the plo were before them and fatah is now. They need a palestinian version of ron paul speaking for them . They have so many people ready to suicide bomb themselves for their corrupt leadership but they need someone who is ready to give his life for peace not to kill more people. Gandhi is one good example here. The israeli government had a good guy in Yitzak Rabin but he was taken out also.
That is not true. Muslim have lived with Jews peacefully before in the past. The root of the cause is from the fact that Israel occupies it's land. Demolishes their houses and forces them out. Although, there is no currently a great hate for Israel in general in that area. And probably even the generalization to hate all Jews also. But that's not the root cause of the issue, it instead is an effect of the root of the problem.
There are extremists to both sides. Don't forget Israel was founded by terrorism. Right, let's reject the world's largest religion. That would surely bring peace.... lol.....
Before zionism and the migration to israel jews and palestinians were living in almost abolsute harmony in jerusalem. This is a historic fact which some people here for some reason are choosing to ignore, and from what I read the jewish people allready begged for this influx of migration to stop.
I agree with the none-ignorant, none-hateful posts above, whether somebody accepts or rejects Islam the facts that some try to hide will be stronger than the desperate tries to hide them, or change them by some who look for a chance to express their disgusting hate that is fueled by their own rage, it's good to see those are becoming a minority and not continue in giving US the ignorant/stupid image, they will soon have only a chance to learn and find peace with themselves or go to history trash bin that their leaders found themselves in.
we knew most hatred stems from this, but you can shoot us, take our homes, make our life hell, you can even try bombing mecca but we will never give up Islam instead of your confrontational and hostile attitude, try being peaceful and friendly
It would appear you are the only one with hatred and a confrontation and hostile attitude. Give it up. You'll feel better.
Your posts are full of hatred, and you're always criticizing Islam. One of your solutions is, like you stated it, "The first step would be the rejection of Islam. That would be a start". helloman's post was full of pride, and not hate. You're always attacking his religion, what did you expect him to say? "Ok, I'll give up Islam, you're right, I'm sorry"?! I'll say the exact thing he said: instead of your confrontational and hostile attitude, try being peaceful and friendly
Care to provide an example? You mistake a difference of opinion for criticism. My guess is you mistake "hatred" for a difference of opinion. Yes. Nothing hateful about that. Let me provide some examples. If you are an alcoholic or drink too much, perhaps quitting might be a good idea. If you smoke, and smoking is bad, perhaps quitting might be a good idea. If you are overweight and eat too much, perhaps stopping those bad habits might be a good idea. Nothing hateful here. Just practical solutions to common problems. No, it was full of confusion, disillusionment, and anger. Among other things. I'm not attacking anything. I'm suggesting an alternative that might make him less confused, less disillusioned, and less angry. I'm here to help. Nothing confrontational or hostile. The only confrontational or hostile attitudes here have been conveyed by two rather defensive individuals. I'm suggesting one examine the alternative, nothing more nothing less.
