Hmmm, looks like the Aussies are out of the limelight for now. We shall see how we shape up against Italy in a couple of days!!

Argentina vs Mexico was a great match. Mexico played much better than they did in the initial rounds. Great goal by Maxi Rodriguez
So it will be Germany vs Argentina in the quarters---That will be on hell of a matc.
Tonite It's portugal vs Holland that i ma looking forward to.England play Ecuador today

if mexico hadnt had that own goal - i seriously think they would have went through - especially if it came to penalties.

They played really well, mid field wasnt as good as it could have been, but the argentines we're slack in defense

Holland & England the next teams through to the quaters ;) :D

Man.. i am sure miss few match already, was shock and glad that Australia going to have a match with Italy. Will it be a miracle draw game or just 1-0 game? I sure wish to see Australia goes into semi-final. They really train hard, and i watch back some of the match, Australian team are not being treated fair by referee. I hope i am too sick to spot it out... :(

You can hardly complain about the referee in the last Australian game, he gave as many bad decisions Australia's way as he did against them.

I think the Brazilian referee in the Sweden - Germany game gave far too many favors to the Germans. Not sure if it was accidental or if he just wanted to please the crowd. Am I the only one who saw that?

Portugal is playing today and I hope they win. I think they stand a good chance if they play as a team and put a bit more effort into the game. :D

True also. I just read a news on the Kewell pointing finger on the referee of Brazil vs Australia match, more fouls on the Australian than Brazil's, and it is mentioned that it was too obvious that the referee sided to Brazil side too much. Maybe. In Soccer match event like this, we hardly can tell which is right, wrong, true nor false.

Its a game of beside kicking the ball to goal, or team play or how good is the player acted. :) Example : A player touch a little bit on B player's leg, and B player felt down, yelling "arhhh hhh ", its like B player's leg going to break, but in a few seconds, B player running like a horse again while the A player get a great magic card which is either yellow or soon turn into red. While in another case, another situation, A player having the ball, and suddenly B player came, hug A player so tight and 100% it is a fault, but no whistle blow, until A player was hugged by B player until drop his feet. Weird. :)

    SEX WEE SEX WEE

I'm so excited, 2 great games today.

Hoping England & Holland will win so that we get to play each other. Then I can don my England shirt, go up to Amsterdam's Leidseplein and be an English hooligan and wind up all the cloggies.

    GO ENGLAND!

Very nice bend by David, low where the keeper can't see it.

Another uninspiring but effective performace. Carrick looked good and Gerrard had a better game with 5 across midfield.
