    i hear win7 is much better than vista, personally i hate vista with passion, for me to switch from my XP to win7 it has to be nothing like vista

    the win7 installs that were installed using the beta keys they give you when you download it now will lock up on Aug 1st

    My computer stopped starting up after a few weeks of dual booting vista and XP with the error ''Bootmgr was not found" so just deleted vista and now have a win7 only system lol. That's how safe i feel with it :)

    Just finished installing windows 7, Its pretty stable and running fine on my DELl XPS M1730 4gb ram.
    They have improved a lot, and speed is up to the mark as well.

    apparently it scales well to netbooks, so im going to slap it on my HP Mini 1000 w/ 2gb ram when I pick it up, ill let you guys know how that goes

    I've been using windows7 for 4-5 days, experiencing some program compatibility issues,,,, like windows7 don't let install codec packs and i'm unable to play various types of video formats. :(

    Im back to using it, but this time on my new desktop (core2quad, 8gb ram, 512mb Geforce, 3gb/s sata2 for just the os and programs) and its great.
