That's crazy, anyone know how John Chow was spamming? That is if he was.

Interesting.. He could've done it himself to get extra traffic? ;)

    I don't think he's a spammer though

Umm...how do you figure JC is an Adsense Guru? The dude admitted he wasn't making jack from Adsense a long time ago and stopped using them. Too bad about the hack though.

It is possible that it could be a PR stunt. After all, think about all of the traffic that this will end up getting. We are already talking about it, therefore it is kind of viral.

John's known for bait link stunts.
    Great guy overall.

I won't be surprised if this was a stunt too.

I agree, thinking outside the box like that has helped a lot of big bloggers and I could definitely see Chow doing this.

As far as I know, John Cow did this before and he will definitely do it again.

Hmm.. so he could've done it to increase his PageRank as well? Because he will get links in other (high PR) sites for sure with this event?

Certainly for the backlinks, but not necessarily because of the pagerank - just for the exposure. Chow got penalized by Google for selling links, which is why his PR is lower than it would normally be, but he doesn't seem to care as he has such a big fanbase now that he really doesn't need Google.

Oh, amazing John Chow has been hacked!
Honestly, I don't give a crap about these blogging gurus, at least not the ones that got there due to showing off earnings.

I believe a good MMO/Entrepreneur blog should be about how people can do the same and succeed. Rather than where the blogger ate food the other night!

I agree - some of these so-called gurus blogs are getting ridiculous.

They made it big, and picked up momentum early on...now their content is kind of stupid.

Besides, i don't like the affiliate game. I could be wrong, but all it looks like is a constant revolving cycle of commenting on other affiliate bloggers posts. It's rather silly.
