I think they still CAN reverse the money from your bank account even if you remove it from your acc. They can reverse each payment they sent to your bank acc.
The method works, but it's because idiots like you who try this stuff that the rest of the sellers are screwed.
let me tell you the best way to avoid charge back. 1) receive funds from your client. 2) ask your client to file a dispute on it . 3) after sometime tell your client to clear the dispute by mentioning that they have received what they were trying to buy. If your client is genuine he will do this and at any cost he cannot charge back again. If your client is a scammer then he will run away before doing this. This is what I do it. Am happy with paypal.
lol man, so everytime i have to make a transaction i have to close my paypal account? man be more generous, btw.. these tricks can be also done by scammers..
This is not a good idea and it is likely that you can lose account access due to a substantial amount of disputes. This also isn't safe for you nor your client as you can defraud them just as easily as they can you.
If I'm right if you just don't register your paypal with a bank account you can't do chargebacks to it. Also (I'm not use on this one) if it isn't a business account you can't to chargebacks to it.
Wrong, the majority of chargebacks occur when a credit card holder disputes a charge. It has nothing to do with adding a bank account to the PayPal account. Wrong again. Any account that receives a payment funded by a credit card can be disputed, which includes accounts ranging from personal to business.
Just so you know you can only add the same cc/bank account 5 times incase you guys didn't know so that means you can make 5 accounts and after the first 5 your screwed :/
What a crap solution the OP has suggested. It is just not practically feasible to close down paypal account after each such transaction, only to open a new one later on. It is akin to not to breath... for fear of death !! Regards, RightMan
Anyone who want's to prevent chargebacks should use this method. Expect extra fees when those debt collectors come-a-knocking.
One alternative (that doesn't require all of the hoop jumping) is to link your button in as a donation.
Donations can also be subjected to chargeback. A donation means nothing more then the meaning and can be fraudulently made.
I would think that there is a lot less wiggle room, though. The original purchaser can't say that the service was bad, or that they didn't receive a product or that the product was faulty. If a purchase is fraudulent there will certainly be recourse for the buyer (as there should be). -e-
Just create another paypal account and send the money to that account. That solves the problem.I did it once when a scamster demanded payback even when he recieved the product.
