Link from images rather than Anchor?

We normally get links with our anchor text, but recently had our logo added to a website, and they linked our logo to our site.

Will this still class as a link in google?... will the juice be the same as an text link?

    Thanks

yes but you need to add your keyword as an image tag, this acts just like anchor text.

Yep...you'll want alt text on that graphic. It still counts as a link in the eyes of the search engine. It would be the same as getting a link with just your domain name as the anchor text. Personally I would still a text link over a graphic link. I think Google might put more weight on text links compared to graphic links. This is because graphic links are often paid banner links.

thats fine. actually, you are supposed to build link using various methods to make it look natural. for example: multiple anchor text, image, direct URL link, etc
