Hi Guys, I'm still in my first week with Adsense and I have had several clicks already but for the life of me I cant seem to find out exactly what was clicked. I have several websites all with Adsense on them but when I go to Overview or Advance Reports I don't see anything that allows me to see which one of my sites was the one I made the money from or what Ads or Links were clicked on. So for Now I don't know where my money is coming from or what are my most popular niches are. Can anyone tell me where I need to look? Thanks for any help you can give. Len
In the Adsense Set Up section of your Adsense account just create a URL channel. By entering the URL (or URLs) you want to track, your daily stats will indicate which site or even which page produces the clicks on the Adsense ads
Thanks, now will that show me exactly which ad was clicked on or just what page was clicked on? For instance if someone were to click on an ad for Travelocity would i know that?
Adsense will not allow you to see exactly what links were clicked, all you can do is track by channel. A good option to get an idea is to get a tracking program to see where people place their mouse and cliclk.
You can name the channel of every adsense code that included to your page to see which ads is clicked, but you'll never know what kind of ads is clicked.
If you need more info on Google channels, you can find more here: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=9868 Good luck mate
Tha't simple: setup Google Adsense and Google Analytics to work together! But, I have a doubt: When I setup Ads + Analytics, I had several blogs and one of them was a subdomain. I decided to acquire a domain and I'll migrate that blog now, but... do I need change anything in Adsense / Analytics in order to show all data from new domain in Analytics with Adsense too? Adsense + Analytics is really interesting! My account started to work in January and I could know which pages were getting better clicks, CTR, earnings, etc. (hmmm... well, it doesn't say which keywords, I think, but that's ok ).
Are you sure about that? I've looked, but can't find any way of integrating Adsense and Analytics. Can someone point me in the right direction? Jon
Sorry, but Analytics won't tell you the particular ad clicked, either. We used to be able to get the actual URL clicked, but a security update that Google did over a year ago kaboshed that function.
