people have been trying to predict when humanity will come to an end. and now someone came up with a deadline, and has anything changed? wars are still happening, people are still being idiots. even if we only have three years left and we actually are all going to die, people aren't doing anything about it.
Actually Mayan predictions for 2012 speak about a radical change, that used to be understood as "the end of the world", now they know that is not exactly "the end of the world" but "a big big change"...
Another danger is that a Volcano on the Canary Islands could break off and cause a giant tsuanami wiping out the US East Coast.
if it does end, then there must be a greater power and life means something if it doesn't it's party time..
