how do i know weather my site is banned or not

    hi,
    I just want to know that if our site gets banned how we come to know and if it is banned by goggle then whats the procedure to get it back indexed on google. please help me.

    if you can't find your site on Google when you search for the URL, it means your site has been banned. there are many tools available but the simplest way is to search in Google for your website. the procedure to get it back indexed by Google is:
    1) first of all, if you have broken Google guidelines for website quality then clean it up.
    2) send a polite mail to Google accepting your fault and acknowledge in the mail that you have read the guidelines and will not repeat it.
    3) if any marketing or SEO firm had the responsibility of your website, then give the contact information of the company to Google.
    4) Apologize and wait

    do a search for site:yoursite.com. If there isn't any listing then odds are it's banned.

    thank you so much.......... actually the website is ranking 138 and i can see all my pages crawled when is serach for "site:www.icemcladplate.com" thatmneans its not banned rite...........

    Yea you should be good. Also you should sign up for google webmasters. You can submit your site to google along with your sitemap. It will also point any problems you may have with your site such missing links.

    If your website is old then check it like site:yoursite.com. If google returns 0 results, it means your website is banned. You will also see the grey color page rank of the banned site.

    if i have tow domain name one redirecting to other does it hits the ranking backward????????/

    Ya, that S/W shows correct result...as i have used that tool many times..It also shows the results for all the external website links on the checked link.

    Check for the color of Pr Checker in your toolbar.. If it mention Unranked and gray color that means your site is either banned or penalized
