related links is a very grey area, but in my opinion, if you are in the tourism business, then exchanging links with other tourism businesses should be good. You could also exchange links with Italy related businesses. Good luck!

That is true, but related link exchanges also carry weight in serps and help build targeted traffic to your site. They can be a part of your link building as well. Every little bit counts. :)

Do you have evidence of that? Granted, there are some adult sites that may engage in shady practices that would put you in a bad neighbourhood if you linked to them. But does this apply to all adult sites?

I can imagine that linking to adult sites could cause your site to be flagged as adult, and filtered out of the safe search. That would make sense.

Hi GIOFED! Ask yourself...What value do my visitors receive from the sites I link to? Is the linked site adding something to your visitors experience? Forget about what Google thinks! Too much time and effort is going into "what Google thinks".

The bottom line is...you have something you want to offer and/or share with the visitors. Linked sites should enhance and/or add to that experience. So yes...it's a good think to link to other sites pertaining to your content or subject matter, but make sure it remains about your visitors experience.

    Remember...in the end...it's the CONTENT!
