meta name="keywords" content= What do you guy's think ? How many Google actually love to read ? How much is to much ? I personally use over 50 keywords and 4-5 key phrases is that to much for SEO am I overdoing it ? How many you use?, and what do you think is the appropriate volume speaking of meta name="keywords" content=
And from my experience, Google hardly puts any weight on these now. I would recommend doing a couple, but stay at 5 if you're wanting to put them in. Google's algo is far more advanced then Yahoo! or MSN's, so just keep good quality content with a nice spread of keywords and you'll be fine. I like to stay at the 5-10 keyword mark also, unless it's the main page of a broad site, and then I'll throw in a few more if I feel that they are relevant. I think that the relevance of the keyword to the site has alot more to do with whether any weight is given to the keyword tag than how many there are from a numerical basis. When you're just throwing in keywords because the website has an off chance that a user searching for that term would be interested in this site, then you know you've gone too far.
and I agree 100% with you I did some research and yes indeed relevance of keyword to your site puts you on the right track .
anywhere under 10 keywords would be stronger then lots of unrelated words. Stick to the stong stuff as google dont like a million random keywords
I think you can use 8 keywords but not more than that because they can harm you . But always try to use your meta keywords in your content whenever you get place for them . This will help you to target those keywords in search engines .
Just try to use related keywords to each page, and don't stuff keywords specially in a row... My advice is just don't over do it (SPAM)
How many Google actually love to read ? None. Google doesn't bother with keyword tags. (- List of tags google recognises - http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=79812 ) Probably worth putting in 2 or 3 to 'mop up' some minor search engines, but they are the least important factor of SEO and have been for years.
If gets you one more visitor a day, on each page of a 1000 page website then its worth it! Depends how much you value your time but it only takes 30 seconds to write 5 keywords.
