Hello All, Altough Adwords conversions are great, min. bids are sometimes too high that the campaigns are hardly profitable. So, does anyone know any solid ad companies - where I can make payments via Paypal - that has a pre-pay option - that has geo-targetting - and of course, that has legit and high conversions Any help greatly appreciated. (I'm not asking for offers, I need suggestions) Best Regards,
Yahoo is very similar to Adwords but generally at a cheaper price on bids. The only downside is that you will only be targeting a potential 25% of the market in opposition to Adwords capturing 50% of the market. If your target market is mainly female then Yahoo is a great option according to their demographic stats.
I tried Yahoo once and it gives "suggested PPC" values of like $5-$10 per click of most words I tried. How is that cheaper than adwords?
thanks for your suggestion, but I have very bad experiences with Yahoo. I'd rather stay away. Looks like I'll have to stick with Adwords
The thing is AdWords display ads on google which reach 80% of the people. That's why AdWords is still the best. And doesn't really have an alternative that work as good as AdWords.
agreed with JaturontThan. not to sound too harsh, but if your margins aren't good, but your managing ads/bids well, then you may need to concentrate on increasing your conversion rate on-page and lowering your CPA. if you're driving traffic direct to the merchant site, then you may need to write higher converting ads.
try more like google 90% yahoo 6% msn 4% from my own results and traffic numbers running identical keywords on all of them
Its best to concentrate on refining your adwords campaign when I started I listed many keyword variations which produced a lot of clicks but not much sales By refining the keywords to a more targeted list and making them more specific to what you are selling gives a more cost effective result. If your add shows for keywords which are on the fringe of what you actually sell you will get a lot more clicks which will cost more money but less sales than if the search was specificaly for what you are selling. You need to monitor your adwords account closely as it can be A a great sales oportunity or B a license to give your money to google the adwords site is designed to suck as much money out of you as possible (thats what business is about) Its up to you to take control of it and use the system as a tool to increase your sales. Remember you are the person that knows the most about your products and your customers so apply your own knowledge to win.
I've used yahoo ads for a number of years. I find that many of the clicks were from domain parking pages. Some are very long names and I don't think those were natural typeins. I canceled the ads and traffic was fine. Overall I think SEO is better than ads.
Check out http://www.SellTextLinkAds.com They have a script you can buy for less than $20 and advertisers can purchase text link space on your site. TextAds script accepts payments through PayPal and you can set all the prices and term lenghts. It's fully customizable with a lot of options. A very well-made script, and iDevSpot has fantastic support and products.
TextAdMarket, is a CPD company with a PPC backbone. You set the price "per day" that you want your ads to sell out at. Advertisers browse the marketplace and can pickup your ad space if they think it is worth it for them. In the meantime, while you are waiting for your ad space to sell in the CPD market, PPC ads will be shown so you are always making maximum revenue.
You are whining for a (%) of the market? Let's put it this way, unless you have a few tousand dollar per mo. rolling business, you shouldn't worry about reaching a massive share of the market. I currently think Adwords is still the cheapest.
THanks, but I'm looking for an Adwords alternative. Not Adsense. I'm an advertiser. I'm not planning to reach a massive share of the market. I'm just trying to increase this tiny little share. Cause it's not enough.
Adwords is by any means the largest source of Traffic, Relevant too. All that is required is a consistent effort towards optimizing your campaigns and maintain a balance between the costs and sales.
