Review my store

Hi Guys.

I have a Dog Pet Supplies store that just opened recently. It also carries other pet supplies too.

I redesigned the logo and front page since I last had it reviewed. It seems like people don't bother to reply to old threads to give you opinions on new design, so I started a new thread to get opinions again on my new work.



This is a real store so I appreciate any input that will help me professionally. The site is currently active and you can order from it. The customer service and payments and shipping is directly handled by another company, not me. They only ship to united states residents.

 

I hate dogs lol.

Popular Dog Pet Supplies images you should move up the page and show some on page load. stores dont need all thet information. most people buy with looking not reading.

 

The design looks very good, I like the way in which the left sidebar was created.

You can save the pictrures under the left menu at a higher quality, I can notice the compression artefacts.

 

I think for beginning phase the web is quite ok.

Anyways thanks for your comment. I didn't have any text when i first started but someone suggested I write something in. I think it looks more "personable" though with the writing and allows me to add some targeted keywords at the same time.

I think what Ill do is move up the Flea and tick image above the text and put the text a little lower. I'll shorten the writing a little so there isn't so much. Let me try that.

I like the overall design but what I don't like is the text of your site title in the header. The shadow doesn't seem to work well with that font.

OK, what I decided to do was shorten the text but leave it towards the top. Now its just one paragraph and I shortened it down, so its not wordy.

I'll see if I can work on the logo text as mentioned in the other reply.

 

OK I just updated the logo. It looks way better. The Title Looks a lot cleaner and the phone number text looks better too.

 

I like dog and I think your site is good... Nice one...

I would recommend putting some pets’ guides and articles, because currently you’re site message SALE!

We sale cat products too, so if you see something you like don't hesitate to buy.


I forgot to mention earlier that Im giving a small portion of my profits back to members of this forum who purchase. Its an incentive for people to try my new store. When you order something, after its been processed and shipped then PM me (don't post it publicly) the order number and Ill paypal you some money. I've cut the profit margin very low, so Im already cheaper than most pet stores. I'll be basically giving you it at cost after the money back.
