I like to suggest you dreamhost. The only one great reason is no one can hack you there. Just believe me. Cheers.
It's usually a bad idea to have your domains reg'd with your host as it means if you want to change hosting you can have issues with your domains. Reg your domains with Godaddy (if that's your preference) and host elsewhere, changing the nameservers accordingly. Bluehost and Hostgator have solid reputations and are easy to set up. They both provide what's called, Fantastico, in the cpanel. Basically, all that means is it will install Wordpress for you and when it comes to upgrading to the newer versions, one click does the job. Very convenient and easy to use.
Oke, well i was going to choose hostgator or dreamhost, but i feel more attracted to hostgator as ive heard lots of positive reviews about them. so im going for hostgator. anyone got any coupons for hostgator?
Try WP WebHost. Their support is top-notch and their servers are made for WordPress. The hosters recommended by WordPress.org aren't necessarily the best, from what I've experienced so far. Just wait till you get CPU and memory overheads from your plugins, and you'll go bonkers! And don't go for just any web hosting, since not all of them are optimized for WordPress. Check my sig and get a 30% discount. They're affordable, too!
I am using hostgator from last one year and It is working fine for me . I am satisfied with speed and space with good rates .
JURY $9.94 off SNOWMAN 20% off There was a $25 off coupon but it expired... Hostgator rebate here www.hostingplanrebates.com
Wordpress is a great platform to get a site up fast and add lots of content with little hassle. I dont think it really matters what host you use for it. They all are basically the same, minus the ones that are just junk. Basically go for cheap and reputable.
There is a vast majority of hosts which meet the WordPress minimum requirements. So just read reviews about selected host and if possible, go for a trial for couple of selected hosts and compare the results as per your business requirements. Here is the list of some good hosts: StartLogic, Dreamhost, Laughing Squid, IX Web Hosting, AN Hosting, HostICan and bluehost. Reliability, uptime, performance and customer support are some of the factors which should be kept in mind during selection.
