I want know from all of you What should we do to bring peace in the world?

From your side what will you do if you got chance to bring peace and liveliness in the world.

We all should use Non-violent methods to solve our problems.
And everyone should support this method.
This will make world peaceful.
But this isn't possible, as we think like this but everyone doesn't.
So faith is also a important factor here.

 

Peace is only the second most important thing.

Freedom is #1

 

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

 

ridding it of primitive superstitions would be a good start. It wouldn't entirely remove violence, but it would stop people claiming to have divine permission to, let's say, occupy land or kill people from certain ethnic groups. At least then we might be able to sit down like adult and discuss disagreements instead acting like children and screaming "well my invisible friend said i could!"

 

We must learn to understand and like people vastly different from us.

 

Bring the true message of god to the world and that is to love one another the way he loves us and never spread gossip and false information about others. Wouldnt this be a great earth if we truely followed gods words, and love and respect people of all beliefs.

Oh yea, and make government as small as it can be so that it will never be big enough for the elite to use against the people of the world.

 

What god are you talking about? The one that ordered the destruction of the Canaanites? No thanks, Let's instead keep that psychopath out of any peace process and get on with undoing the trouble he has already got us in to.

As I heard someone say recently on the subject, "you can't negotiate with god".

Scubita and aap, you both have valid points. Its groups of powerful people that control policy and we have gotten away from WE THE PEOPLE. Destroying all nukes will insure that we dont destroy ourselves as a species.

 

Guys as I said earlier this isn't possible.
Also if we have peace all the time we won't like living on this earth and we would start thinking if there would be some violence.

You're completely wrong about the idea of peace. You're basically saying 'lets get rid of all of the weapons, make our governments small and then hope for peace'. There's always that crazy dude that will want to take over the world, and as soon as you get rid of nukes - he'll develop them. As soon as you relax - he'll develop a war strategy.

That's exactly what Hitler did.

 

I have to agree. Religion seems to be the number one reason for people/communities developing hatred against one another.

How would you assume to know god? Even in the book of revelations it talks about end times. Dude, there are tyrants all over the world and we have actually helped to install them in certain countries lol. You think hitler was the only one and his kind is gone. How many people died in the iraq war? How many asians died in veitnam???????

Each country has to take care of itself. Iran had a very peaceful leader. What did our government do? We helped to get rid of him and replace him with a tyrant. The Potential for hitler to come to power was a direct result of the treaty of versailles. You think tyrants get that chance on their own? Tyrants are in almost every country in the middle east, do you think got to their thrones without help?

Now if you believe you blink into nothingness after death then yes there is the potential of our species destroying each other. Do you think our species as a whole, by the way we treat each other is not heading towards this direction??????
Hitler wasnt a catholic, he was a pure atheist, and everyone knows this.
saddam hussein claimed to be a muslim when it was convenient, but in reality everyone knew he was an atheist lol
there are good and bad people everywhere but we need to unite as a world and start caring for each other.
Are we leading by example when we have a history of destroying democracies in other countries. Sounds kind of arrogant to say there is only one dictator out there in the last 100 years lol.

My opinion is; the only way to bring peace in the world is to follow our religious scriptures in a right way. Basics of these scriptures are same. Pls don’t bother. Religious scriptures always teach us the good lesson. Better we believe in God. Fear of God keeps us away from devil acts. God never gives us the right to kill innocent people, drink alcohol, involve in adultery, force against one’s will. Let’s follow and think in the way God shows us.
