Added Amazon shop to site and lost visitors

Hi

I have added an Amazon shop to my site. I did this about four days ago and ever since all of my hits have gone from Google Analyctics. I had either 1 or two visitors showing at first then they have just gone and I am left all alone.

Is this normal? or have I done something to upset Google search engines?

Site looks good! I've never heard that the inclusion of an astore would hurt you with google.

 

i would say try promoting the heck out of it for a few days and see if there's any change.

 

1 or 2 visitor hit a day hardly convert your traffic to sales. no offense but the guide for affiliate marketing conversation is 1/100, which mean u need to have 100 visitors and 1 visitor will actually buy.

IMHO, dump this web and start another field. or give a second chance to drive in more traffic via article marketing, social bookmarking, etc etc but not PPC.

I have the same problem with Analytics lately. It shows that I haven't had a visitor since 2 weeks ago, on one of my blogs, but other stats, form my server, popularity plug in, Amazon and Ebay say that I am getting a steady flow of traffic, clicks and conversions.

I don't know why but Google Analytics has never shown me accurate traffic stats on any of my sites. I wouldn't worry about it just yet and try another gauge of traffic stats.

 

agreed!... google analytics = 0 visitors but amazon id = 1 item shipped! amazon pity me with minimum sales by pulling other sales to my account? yes? no? im to earn pennies LoL
