Hi, in one of my sites the products have the product description with a lot of punctuation. I use this text in the title, description and in the content. Example: 2 Books. Bible. Red. Very Old. Is this bad and can lead to penalties do you think? Like if google considers this spammy. Should I try to use less dots?
I don't think it will lead to penalties. But you have to arrange your title text properly to get the high rank in the search results. Every word you are using in the title text is more important and precise title will get more importance. For example, don't include any of the common text link website names in the title unless it is necessary. if your article talks about the black shoe sales, more effective title would be "Black Shoe Sales", or to add more extent it can be "Black Show Sales in India". The more words you are adding in the text, the importance of the keyword is reducing. Please try to avoid any punctuation in the Title text
i don't think it may harmful but still need to change in proper manner title very very important element of meta tag as well as SE Point of view so make it proper.
