Hi DP members! I have a product idea for CB. It targets the relationship niche, except not dates (boy/girlfriend) but friendship. I have 2 ideas: How to solve friendship crises How to get back ex friend Of the three, what is best and why? If you have more to add to the list, this would be appreciated. Thanks!
Glad to see you're going ahead with it here's some ideas to consider: Dating situations with your friend (are they/you dating their/your ex?) or just plain dating in general solving past grudges easily (definitely a big bonus if you could work that in to the product/salespage) helping your friends through money problems, lending them cash etc making new friends, how to ingratiate yourself in a new school or workplace kinda thing. coping with attitudes-bossy, dominant, pushovers, clingy and the whole lot. and most importantly-how to tell them they're grating on you, like when they're being too annoying or greedy or what not. plus what kind of people to watch out for as friends, and "warning signs" that your friendship is kinda souring up, or that the new guy you've made as a friend could be a leech in disguise (I atlest wish I'd had that kind of advice early on.) Man, this is freakin endless As you can see, there is limitless potential here, if properly harnessed but If I were you, I wouldn't stick to the crises/ex friend niche, but make something like a "be an amazing friend manual" encompassing all this, people are more likely to buy it if you let them know that it has future potential apart from short term benefits. And yes, I expect a very small fee, say 20% of teh profitses (kidding) no, seriously. Good luck with it
It would be a good product. It is a timeless niche, because friendships and the associated troubles will be around forever. I look forward to seeing this in the Clickbank marketplace in the future, good luck!
From an Aussies point of view- thanks mate! MedicAffiliate, you rock! Oh ye and I will give you 20% of the profits* *Joking!
I've worked in the pharma field for over five years now...it would surprise you what people pay to solve. This niche has decent potential, provided dimmoney manages to get the marketing angle right, otherwise you're looking at a million hops from distressed 13 year olds whose moms will refund their credit card purchases.
I'm not sure a guide on how to get your friends back would sell to anyone over the age of 15. Most people over that age are sensible enough and mature enough not to have silly fights with their friends in the first place. Sure, some people do, but it's a pretty small market I reckon. What's the search volume like for keywords like "get friend back" ? Try using Google Trends and compare it to "get ex back".
Bad niche. Extremely unique niche yes, but that means no affiliates will promote it, believe me I know. Also, if you target relationships (love) then people are much more emotional and desperate and willing to buy. People will do 100x more to get back a lost love than a lost friend.
In the pharma industry you are dealing with health problems, which users are more desperate to get help from compared to How to solve friendship crises and How to get back ex friend. I am referring to profitable niches, not a niche where you may make a sale once a month or so.
What about a product on: "how to make friends?" The results on yahoo answers and google search engine are amazing!
Asking questions online and people willing to pay money to solve the problem are two different things. I think 18+ yr olds would be more inclined to pay for a hooker then to pay for some ebook telling them how to make friends. Just a hunch
If someone had a really great friend and had no where else to turn I'm sure they would be desperate enough to buy it. That's another great idea, but a little bit manipulative so I don't know how warm of a reception it would get.
IMO that's a teen niche, I found based on my expirience that teen niches are hard to convert. Because they are after freebies stuff, and most of them are students, so they do not have much cash to spend freely and adults do. But on the other hand, teen niches get very popular in very short time, so you can espect lost of traffic on the website. Also I have a friend that also promotes teen niches and he has been succesfull, so there yes it might be profitable good luck
Should've made myself more clear...people will buy anything you offer them-if you show them their problem and how to solve it, they will buy. How many will buy depends on the publisher. And teen niche or not, everyone is interested in a better way to communicate with others and make friends. Just google for the books "coping with friends" and "how to make friends and influence people" and have a look, this niche has been successful repeatedly but has to be approached with care since it's in completely untested waters the publisher will have to create a decent sales page with almost no reference to fall back on.
You do have to be careful not to fall into the teen niche but also remember that there are lots of desparate people out there. You could target these by using an angle like "how to make friends and build confidence". If you can convince people that your product is the key to feeling like a million bucks and attracting people to them it will sell. Any niche is a profitable niche if you market it correctly.
