OVH only sell to UK and EU customers.

You need to purchase from a reseller if you are from anywhere else in the world...

 

ovh does charge %19 vat so prices from their site is without vat , so let's said i buy it from you , how can i be sure after a month you wont delete my server and go away? do you know ovh does not allow reselling of servers to other people?

 

this is way over priced lol they were offering this for 20euros a month and this guy is trying to make 10euros extra

Yep, its £23/mo inc VAT. I didn't know, but where do you draw the line at reselling, im 'getting rid' of this server, because i have no use for it.

Theres even a thread in their forums about reselling (Created by OVH admin), people mention it all the time, so I think its something they overlook.

Why would I? As long as you are paying £30/mo, im always making a profit regardless, I have no reason to run.

If your not in the EU or UK, then you cant buy from them. So that knocks out everyone from the US and India, where the majority of webmasters are from.

This has already been posted above, and I even mentioned in my first post it was from OVH. Gosh, keep up.

i sent him $30.00 for video hosting.my site has only been up for 6 days and down for 18 days.i have sent him 15 emails asking for my database and public_html files.i haven't received any emails on my request.he sent me a email on dec 31.2008 and saying that he sold his hosting company. this guy will steal your money.

The server went down on 09/01/09, so you would have had 15 days of good service, it has been down for 9 days due to a hardware fault.

I am not going to deny the fact I have ignored your emails, but I have spoken to you 2-3 times, and told you what the situation was, and I said I would give you your files back when I had them.

I didn't send you an email on 31/12/08, because there were no problems back then, it all started on 09/01/09. The thing is, I haven't got your files, If i did, I would send them to you. I have got 'backups', but it's all raw data, so I need to wait until a new server is provisioned, then I can get everything back up, and restore your data.

I have lost £xxxx because of the hardware fault, and am unable to refund your money. I can offer you a month extra free service, but I dont know if you would want to take it. This is simply because I dont have the money.
