Backlink from a site which has lots of outbound links

I have read that getting a backlink from a site which has lots of outbound links will not be of great help compared to a site which has less outbound links. Now, a site has lots and lots of outbound links. But a page from that site has no outbound links. So, if I get a backlink from this page, will it be worth a lot as the page has no outbound links? Or it will be worth less since the SITE has tons of outbound links?

In Link building Quality is main factor and also the link from High out bound sites is not harm but less value

I know that. My question is, the site has many outbound links. But a particular page in the site has no outbound links. So, getting a link from that particular page will be less value because the WEBSITE has lots of outbound links? Or it has good value because the PAGE has no outbound links?

I think the Link Juice passed to your site is diminished by the number of links on the page you place the link
so if you are the only link you get all the juice available
if you are 1 of 50 then it will be almost worthless

As a general rule the few outbound links from a page the better. However there is still value and there are several other variables that determine the links value. IE - Placement, dofollow/nofollow, anchor text, PR, page age, etc.

To quickly determine the number of outbound links I suggest using the firefox plugin search status.

Sites with lots of outbound links will make your back links worth less than if it has no out bound links, the pr will go to each link equally

Yes, the more OBL's the less juice that is passed. Also rule of SEO is that if there are more then 50 OBL's on the page then the page has no value to your PR juice wise. Usually for the links to have any quality you will have to keep the links under 20 outbound and you should get some juice passed.

Thanks everyone for your reply. But please, try to understand me. I know what everyone said. My doubt is, the site has many outbound links. But ONE page has no outbound links. And what will be the value of a OBL we get from THAT page? That is, there are 5 pages in a website. And there are 245 links totally from 4 pages and the last one page only 5 Out Bound links. So, getting a backlink from that page will be worth good as the no. of Outbound links from that page is less or getting a backlink from that page is also worth less since there are 245 outbound links from the whole website though not in that page?

I suppose, I can't ask this any better.

The outboundlinks are calculated just from that one page however obviously all the internal pages will be networked to each other so the strength of a link from the page with large amount of OBL to the page with no or little OBL that you want to put your link on will have less strength. However in answer to your question considering no one else has yet, the OBL I "think" wont have a primary affect on your actual link instead it will have an affect on the page's link strength thats all.

It would depend on the Page Rank of the page Not on website . If the page you are talking about have PR2+ then its good else it won't help you more

yes, as every page from a website is considered as a unique website with information over it........now if that page do not have any outbound link and you get a link from it then you will gain surely from it.........still a condition exists which is if that page do not have any sought of ranking then it would not help you much in ranking
