Nervous about adwords affiliate redirect

I'm muddling my way through adwords and clickbank. I want to make sure I am doing this right so I am not paying for clicks on a commission I'll never see.

I've been denied twice trying to do 301 redirects to my affiliate url.

So, here is what I have done that seems to be ok with google, but I'm nervous because the display name is the owner of the content.

Here is an example of what I mean in a format that is hopefully understandable.

    The display url is www.the-real-guy-selling-the-stuff.com
After all the 301 forwarding, this is where the customer ends up.

    The destination url is myaffiliateid.theguyfromabove.clickbank.net

I'm just nervous because what is displayed is not me or my affiliate id, but what is clicked apparently is so hopefully that is ok. I had a look at the source code from the google webpage.

Is this how you guys are doing it in the absense of a landing page?

If so, I guess I bought a domain name for no reason :)

I imagine Google will disallow this as the destination URL and display URL are not part of the same domain.

As advised, get your own website and hosting and presell the product first - then have the affiliate link on that webpage.

Im still yet to launch my first campaign but im not going to be direct linking to the affiliate.

My approach is through landing pages with the other neccessary pages and as suggested by muchacho79, presell the product from a landing page.

Any samples of preselling a product via your own landing page?
