need your suggestions and ideas..

I want to promote my new website.
actually it's not a forum or a social network or one of these regular websites and that's what makes it hard for me to promote it.

The site idea is that it gives anyone the chance to be interviewed to talk about his project, website, experiences. then his interview will be published on the site and he will be able to share it with friends or publish it on his website.


so guys, what are your suggestions to promote such a site?

 

Promote it on forums and blogs. Submit articles to Digg.com And remember to have your site's URL in your signature at all times.

 

Well the first thing I would do would be to get a graphic (if you don't have one already) that says, "I was interviewed by Querier.net! Click here to read my interview!"

Then start contacting people and asking them for interviews, explaining your concept. Then you can give those people the graphic to link to their interview on your site.

If people like the site and the concept, ideally it will eventually go viral.

 

well, I like your idea of this website, placing more interviewed example might help more encourage people to attemp your services.

 

It's an original idea I give you that, and I could see it being used by people/companies to get their products out there. Dugg and commented, might submit to Reddit/Mixx if it already isn't.

Usual promotion methods such as directory submissions and banner advertising would work. You can also consider getting some blog posts out on several webmaster-related blogs or sites.

 

the problem about directory submission is that they require to put a code in my site to link back to them which I wouldn't do because it will make my site unprofessional !

 

Those are reciprocal directories. Go for the free and paid directories that do not require reciprocals.
