I'm sorry, but thats the dumbest thing I heard all week...and its friday >_< Motherboards have a feature that will turn off the computer at a set temperature, unless you disable this feature (not sure if there is a way to disable but what if); if it is disabled just enable it at the lowest temperature and you will be fine.... And why not just keep your computer off, or like someone said, format.... OR just uninstall everything you dont need, it wont have any processes to run.... just because you get a virus doesnt mean your computer combusts instantly or the whole entire computer is destroyed...think. Sell the computer on ebay for $500, with the virus, and buy a new one and delete the account........just kidding, don't do that.
My server has been on for the past 400 days running @ 100% CPU processing. I haven't smelt any smoke yet, so please kid shut up and learn something before you post on this forum.
