    Hi guys

I am currently developing a website, and have a domain in mind, unfortunatly the name matches a very old c64 game, im just wondering if this is going to be a problem, as the game is over 15 years old now and they dont own any domain names related to this game ? and the game wasnt followed up in any way.

If the game hasn't been sold in 15 years, I would imagine the trademark has been abandoned. Check the USPTO site to see if a registration is active.

It will also depend on the content of your site. If you are selling flowers there probably isn't much they could do. A gaming website would be a different issue.

Actually, their would be no issue. I highly dout that they renewed their patent. Even if they did it still wouldn't be a problem as the courts are still undecided on domain trademarks.
