directories profitable?

People have done it. I only have about 20 links so far. I wish I could tweak it better that to submit it popped up.
IMO it is a fair trade off for a free DO Follow link to do a 5 minute survey esp as the directoy gets page rank.

 

If I come accross a directory and a survey pops up, I'm gone.....

 

I have started one too, about 2 weeks ago, it already has several links pointing to it. I strongly think that a quality directory with money to invest can be profitable (well profitable) within 4-8 months.

I dont think it is a profitable business any more,Most of SEO marketers are not internested in it anymore.

yes directories are profitable .... but yes it is not only just make them live... there is plenty of work remaining after that too.
