dear experts i am reading book from book.cakephp.org but i am not understanding how to intall cakephp and configer it for begnners.. i will be thank full to u if any one tell me how to do it
1 . download the whole package 2 . paste it in your local server 3 . open the directory then follow the steps and configure the cake if success 4 . delete the folder installer or rename it, its inside the cake folder
Take note that cakephp is not a program but a framework like Seagull, Zend Framework, CodeIgniter and like. All you have to do is extract the zip/package file in your development directory and start using it. You can also read the install guide in their website.
dear i had download cakephp pack and also paste in root dir (www), i am using wamp i think my root path is (http://localhost/cakephp) when i go this path, i do not find any installer or configuration paths ... any body tel me how to install

If you want to learn any framework urgently, I think you made the wrong choice. Try CodeIgniter because based on my experience their documentation is well written with sample codes and small learning curve.
