$300 to spend where would you submit

Whilst I am happy to submit to a substantial amount of free directories, if you had $300 to spend on paid listings, where would your dollars go.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If I were you, I would look for niche directories related to you site. All other directories are more and more useless unless you are starting a new site and trying to getting it indexed and $300 would be too much for that.
I would use the whole amount to submit to yahoo  yes to yahoo directory. I started two similar sites a year ago. The one submitted to yahoo is averaging $70 a day and the other one is struggling with supplementals (they are not duplicate, I admit I worked more on the first one but the main difference is yahoo directory).

    a bon entendeur

I vote for Yahoo too. If you are after pr submit to sites suggested above, but if you are after traffic go Yahoo.

2 vote for yahoo, but it almost take your whole budget.

    Joeant is good too..

i don't know if 300 is enough..may be you can find a corrupt DMOZ editor(j/k):D

it is funny that ppl put their own directory here, come on guys

Thanks to all that replied, especially ahkip, balkanboy, and mhamdi, this was actually the type of answers I was after.

I will be submitting to several free directories, in fact using one of the guys in DP.

What I was interested was others thoughts on where to spend money, and looks like I might go with Yahoo, and maybe a couple others.

If anyone has more suggestions, please feel free to post.

Half of the directories posted in this topic are PR0... Spend your $300 wisley. Purchase some adwords, and submit to Yahoo directory. You may also want to submit your site to niche directories.
