An Easy Method To Profit Off AdSense!

While I will admit this takes a little bit of work in the beginning, it's a nice an easy way to profit off of AdSense once it's set up.

First of all, let me go over some basic rules and guidelines.

#1 - DO NOT CHEAT OR ATTEMPT TO CHEAT GOOGLE!
AdSense is one of the programs you can rely on and Google is one of the companies you can rely on finding you if you try to wrong them or cheat them. There's no reason to even try to cheat them or involve yourself in "Click Exchanging" or such other behaviors.. this can be a great source of income if you treat it right.

    #2 - Duplicate Content!
Just don't do it.. it's that simple. If your content is stolen from another website, then the most earnings you'll ever see is start up or traffic from pings and that's about it. Just be unique and original or else this method just won't work for you. Like I said.. there is some work involved.

    #3 - Be Patient!
It takes Google a little time to find the website and index it and sometime varying on the keyword you've chosen, this can be a rather quick process or a very long process. Don't expect to hit dollars or cents overnight, this is not a guru money making scam, it's a legitimate white-hat method.

Now then, we've gone over some basic rules and guidelines, let's go over the method.

    Step #1: Niche Hunting
This honestly is probably the worst part of it. I personally hate manually niche hunting and some people have tools to do this for them and some do not. We're going to assume we're doing this all manually though.

One problem and common factor I see a lot of people doing is over-thinking their niche. They start looking at trends and the history of the niche, it's rise and fall, the market fluctuation of this niche.. please.. please.. if you have an automated program to do this for you, that's fine and dandy but this is over looking it just a bit and you're making it much more complicated than need be.

First of all, as long as it's a low competition keyword, it can be dominated and it can be sold to. It doesn't have to be in high demand, as long as it's getting searches.

Head on over to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and brainstorm something you would like to write about. Generally think of something you enjoy writing about or something you could write about. We're currently looking for something that has LOW competition but something that still gets searches so be sure to check and make sure it's getting a decent amount of searches as well. So in the mean time, conduct your search for a low competition keyword and write the possible keywords down in a list.

Head on over to Google and type in your keyword in quotes. If it has more than 20,000 results, scrap that particular keyword and narrow your list down to keywords that have less than 20,000 results. You are only going to use ONE of these keywords when you are making your website/blog.

    Step #2: Get A Blogger
Yes, you're going to want to get yourself a blogger or if you really want to, you can get your own hosting and host your own blog. Most people are on a tight budget, so I chose this as the main route to go.

When selecting your blogger and naming your blogger, your going to name it that particular keyword. I've never had a problem with having a name that was already taken. So if your particular keyword is "Sweaty Diabetic Socks", then your blogger is going to be named sweaty-diabetic-socks.blogspot.com.

Don't go crazy on the layout just yet because honestly, a normal layout will do, but if by all means you want to spice it up a bit, go for it.

    Step #3: Getting Content
You can do this one of two ways.

#1: You can always find very cheap workers from other countries on Craigslist who will write articles for as low as .50c. You'd be surprised by the quality too.

#2: If you're like me and you love to write, then head on over to Ezines and look for articles related into your niche. We're not going to steal/copy these articles, what we're going to do, is re-write them.

Keep scraping until you have a good collection, I would say 50 solid articles. You're going to re-write 2 articles a day (at least with a word base of 300+ and try to include your main keyword twice in the article) and you're going to submit them to your blog.

    Step #4: Setting Up AdSense
Once you have your initial couple of articles set up, this is where you're going to set up your AdSense and there are some tips and tricks to this.

Every blog is different and every blog will have different CTRs so don't take my advice on setting this up to the bone, you have to expirement a bit.

    Tip #1:
At the top right corner of your blogger, add a 5 link unit module. Do not ask me why, but when I add this to most blogs, it attracts viewers and increases the CTR by a good .50% to 2%.

    Tip #2:
Remember, opposites attract. If you have a white background, you want to make sure you're using a text that draws the eye immediately, even if it means beeing off tune with the rest of your text.

What I like to use most of the time, is a dark or blackground with white text/headline and a bright blue link. I find this to be most successful for me, you might have different luck.

    Tip #3:
Add a 326x280 AdSense block at the very top of your posts. Why? It's the very first thing they'll see and believe it or not, this can be a killer CTR booster.

I know this guide doesn't go into "Hold your hand" detail about the method, but I wanted to give you a very brief but detailed overview on how to profit off AdSense for free, for just a little back-bone work. While this can be outsourced and easily maximized from, I rather enjoy re-writing articles myself :)

The important thing is to remain consistent and keep posting!

If you have any questions/comments/concerns, feel free to let me know, and I will address any of them to the best that I can.

Nice post, and somehow I agree on this part. This is I think what most of us missing. For me, making money from Google Adsense is not just making money for yourself alone. It's a business, and Google is our business partner.

Well when a lot of people ask me for advice I notice they have one thing in common. They're main goal is to earn a lot of money.

Is this a correct way to run a white hat business? *BUZZ* WRONG!!!!

Even with an AdSense based website, your goal is not to make money. Your goal is to solve a person's need or to answer a person's question and that is what your website needs to do. No one comes online looking for ads and looking to buy things when they have a problem, they're more than likely looking for information.

There's a ton of more info and detail I could go into about which keywords attract the desperate buyers but information like that is probably longer than the original post and I wanted to keep it simple for a quick method to earn off AdSense.

I must agree with adding a 326x280 AdSense block on top. That's the one i'm using for most of my sites. Sometimes i also use skyscraper ads on the left side and it also give good result.

I'm glad people liked my tips.

Be sure to post any CTR improvements or any earning improvements, as we'd all love to hear them.

Also: If anyone has any questions or if anyone would like to request a specific guide be written in another area, I'd love to do that. I don't mind writing.

I've never had *huge* success with SKyscraper ads, I always reserve 160x600 spots for other affiliate options.

I think I was being misquoted there. Although I mentioned about Google as a business partner, it is still our visitors who are our customers. While it is true that searchers are looking for answers to their problem, they will not care if the answers on the ads as long as the ads will satisfy their needs.

Now, if visitors will find all the answers on a blog posts then they will not click the ads anymore. And yes, I do clicks ads from blogs if and only if the ads seem to contain the information that I need.

This is why search engine traffic is important if one really wants to make money from Adsense.

The goal - is to make money by helping others get the information they need. If your goal is only to share information and not to make money out of it, then we can call that charity work.

If there's one thing I have learned. It's that people will never be satisfied from learning online. You can send them to any blog/any e-book and most chances are they're too lazy to read it all or to lazy to implement a solution to their problem, which is why ultimately they'll end up surfing for new sites.

I did a survey last year of family members and they said they had no clue that there were ads on the side of Google Search Results. It was kinda shocking to me really. Some people just don't notice the ads.

Well of course.. everyone's ultimate goal is to profit.. no one makes these websites for the pure benefit of letting people know information..

I'm just saying, when people get into the mindset and want to make money.. that's when they lose the ultimate goal and purpose.. that it is to help a customer because without an interested customer who thinks you have a solution to their problem and without the proper information to make them believe so, your site is just a bunch of ads and the only niche I know that works in is the "X" niche :D

Well blogger might be a good platform to learn and pickup the basic, but if you are looking for long-term commitment, it is best to get own domain and hosting.
