Friendfinder Voided Check now what?

I had some serious maintenance on my office and all of my papers gone to a box, guess what?! there was a $200 dollar check from medley (frindfinder).

    Obviously is already voided.

What should I do? I really need that $200 dollars. I have sent two mails with no response.

Any Advice? any medley employee here? :(

Unless they're willing to work something out with you, you're pretty much screwed. They sent you the check, but you failed to cash it. They made a good-faith effort to pay you. Legally they have no obligation to cut you another check. It doesn't hurt to ask, of course, but don't get your hopes up.

No need to worry...Has happened to me before. Contact them on icq and tell them to re-issue another cheque. They will do it right away.

I have never heard of the law that says once a check is cut and the payee fails to cash it for whatever reason, it is done. You surely are mistaken. As long as you have the check in your possession and the company is in business, I am sure you will find a way to receive your funds. You may need to be persistent.

Wow, that is a bummer deal. I would definitely be persistent as the other people have said here. That is all you really can do.

If the check says "expires within 60 days of issue" or something like that, the check issuer doesn't HAVE to issue another check. Obviously, it's good affiliate relations for them to do so. But there's no requirement.

Whatever, buddy. My wife works at a bank, and has confirmed this info for me. But I don't really care. I cash my checks before they expire, so it doesn't affect me.

Deposit it anyway, into your bank's ATM. That has worked for me before, though it's not guaranteed...

rjmwx81 is mistaken, if the check isn't cashed, then you never got paid. They still owe you the money.

If you're an active affiliate, it should not be an issue to contact your AM and get it fixed. Phone works better than email on this one.

Today I received my new check!
They send it again, everything was good, maybe a little slow.
