I just noticed that on this site http://www.hyundaiforum.com The person has adsense and - The whole text ad unit can be clicked instead of just the title. - Ads by Google cannot be clicked and is just shown as text. Isnt it unfair while we lose revenue others gain.
Do you know how much loyalty publishers need to become a premium publishers . I think it is best to get something special when you are in premium category . How they will look different if they don't get anything special .
so you think its unfair that publishers serving millions of impressions per month enjoying better benefit than publishers serving handfull of impressions? if you were in the business, would you not offer bulk discount for high volume customers?
My friends site gets 22 Million Impressions per month and he has not been offered any type of such features. My own site gets more ad clicks than that forum in a day. The point is while google said that it was to prevent accidental clicks, it seems to keep the option limited to certain users. If they enable the same thing for me my CTR would be much superior and it means more earnings for me.
They're more than likely a premium ad publisher, who receives over 2 million unique visitors, or 2 million pageviews a month.
I think Google is right in giving special privileges to premium publishers. It will at least give an impetus to other publishers to increase their traffic just for the sake of enjoying that extra benefits
