I had an hosting account at Hagiohost, I requested to close the account, but never got a reply. Then I noticed that my site was down, and then they took out $25 out of paypal. I sent them numerous messages asking for a refund, as well as for them to close the account. And now they have taken another $50 out, I have sent another couple of messages. I am unsure how to proceed, as I am not getting any reponse, I need this $75 refunded, and then my account closed. the host is Hagiohost.com What should i do? Thanks
Didn't you contact for support? but I tell you that there support SUCKS, I used their hosting for my proxies sites and I got the worst support ever in my life.
how can they just take money out of your account ? unless you had used the "add funds" option in the WHMCS, although you can even remove that yourself i suppose. try setting a complain from the place they are taking the money, they can always revert the payment.
yeah i know, you have no idea how many support tickets ive opened there, they all just get closed without a reply.
I think he used recurring payment in PayPal. If it's true, you can raise a dispute in your paypal account to have a chance to get your money back!
Yes, I will do that to get the money back thanks, but I need to stop it from hagiohost, so they will not take any extra money out in 6 months.
that's horrible. just do what buileminh and open a claim, if you can't have your money, don't let them take it either! how long did it pass between the $25 and $50 unauthorized payment?
Hi, the first $25 was actually $50 as well, but $25 of it went towards my hosting, the other $25 was taken by mistake. 6 months passed, I sent many messages. I am going to get the $75 refunded through paypal, but still dont know how I can get my account closed.
Haldar, Shawon HagioTeam 150/2, 4B, Arambagh, Motijheel, Dhaka Dhaka, 1000 Bangladesh +1.88035162279 Fax -- +1.88035162279 thats their whois record..seems the owner is from Bangladesh, owns a pretty big company then - not sure if you wanna use that number to make a call and ask the guy "what's up" lol
then the company shouldn't get anything other than bad publicity - and whois information is correct more than false, just some kids that lie about their name and address. but you shouldn't count out whois info until you actually try not everyone is a liar
The first thing you should do is remove subscription in your PayPal account. This is the best thing you can do to stop losing money out of your hands. After you keep the remain money of your account, try to contact the hoster and tell him that if he does not refund, you will raise a dispute to PayPal with screenshots of email/support tickets you sent them. I think you will get your money back soon!
