The thing that impresses me the most about America is the way parents obey their children.

    -King Edward VIII (1894 - 1972)

    Agree or disagree?

i think that not only in america, but anywhere on the world.
i used to live in difficult time when i was young, so now i rather spoiled my children because i don't want them to have difficult time as i'm.
and i don't live in america.

There's no such thing as "illegitimate children" - only illegitimate parents.

This is to think only of your child and not the rest of the world. For your child, in the short-term (being their childhood) it may be difficult, but there is usually fruit to be reaped after these disciplinary years. There are no fruits for a spoiled child, just a contamination of the planet. Think of your fellow man too.

    are you a parent?

don't worry i still know how to discipline my children, while is not easy to hear them cry when they got the punishment.

i like to hear what they want, is what they want is something good and i can give it to them, why not.

the different thing between older parenting is that now modern parents willing to hear what their children want rather than "NO you can't do that" statement.
