A couple of days ago I got a $2,000 sound system installed in my lancer just to give it that final touch. 1,300 watt sub, and 4 speakers inside the car putting out 150 watt each, with a 1,200 watt amp. Was just wondering has anyone gotten pulled over by the police etc for these? (they arent illegal obiviously) but I mean for the noise.
wow that would suck being pulled over for noise polution from a device that is designed to be seriously loud and legal
you got ripped off. 4 speakers, the sub and amp should cost no more than $800 even for good stuff. 4 speakers @ 130 a pair = 260 1 amp (such as phoenix gold) = 220 1 sub (nice, like JL) = $300 max
Do yourself a favor and avoid the great big sticker on the back window that says JL AUDIO or SONY or Phoenix Gold. I never understood why my local "boom fans" got bummed when some dude jacked all their gear....they advertised that it was in there......
Lol anyone is more then welcome to take my car, or steal it, everything is 100% covered by insurance lol. + My car is so fitted up with security that it beeps if someone leans hard against it, so it should be okay.

Wow sony xplod, cool. I am still using my tape cassate player in my car, but recently added the front 2x xplod speaker. Later will change or get the better players in my car. Brae, what amp brand that u are using to mix with the system?
I have a Blaupunkt System installed in my car. Hi-Fi ONE!! Tried Sony Xplod,but i know,SONY is only good at LCD Televisions and HOME THEATRES ,but not at Car Audio Systems.. BLAUPUNKT , KEENWOOD, JVC are now some ultimate ones...
