This will be interesting to follow up but a simple poll is not enough I think. I am more interested to see what people like about directories they voted. Votes like : DMOZ is the best in the world aggravates the hell out of those that do have an idea about how a web directory should look and be like, etc. I would like to see the vote & after that each to post a little about what he/she likes: For example: I like X directory because: -awesome design -great features -seo friendly-quality content -awesome chick owns it (kiddin') -etc
Botw.org is great directory and have high quality links. They still have good value, are flexible, want to work with businesses, and have great customer service. I also still like yahoo's directory, they do a great job, make sure it is reviewed, and the pr rank boost is phenomenal.
