Exactly, I've never seen any aaaaaaaaaaaaa.com domains worth a dime. As a matter of fact, I've never seen any until I read this thread.
the owners of those domains would expect to get backlinks for those long domains by having those long names posted on forums that could be a strategy!!
Those people who register such long domain names are just wasting thier money unless your domain is really the longest and then U can have it listed in the guiness book of work records and then U might get tons of hits to your sites.
Even if it was in the record books I doubt they'd get the type-in traffic. As for http://thelongestlistofthelongeststuffatthelongestdomainnameatlonglast.com, it has an alexa ranking of about 75K, so they must be attracting attention. All in fun, of course
I'm not so sure really.. But I can create it myself if I want to (such a stupid thing to do). Have you ever experienced this...? You click on a link or type a URL into the address field of your browser. But instead of being taken to that particular web page, you're confronted with a 404 error... that infamous "Page Cannot Be Displayed" message. Maybe you typed the URL wrong. Or maybe whoever created the hyperlink made a mistake in the HTML coding. Either way, the page you're hoping to access doesn't display. So you try it again and receive the same results. In that case you should consider to use Intelligent 404 software. Because using long domain name could lead your visitors to the wrong page instead of yours...
