How to check backlinks ?

Is there any way to check exact number of backlinks ?

1) Query "link:domainname" does not give accurate results
2) Google webmasters update takes time
3) Yahoo Search Explorer also shows incomplete(though more as compared to Google) results.

Any other good way to check backlinks for the site ?

yes this is best and i m also use same tool

google only show index page so this is never show correct back link no.

It does not show exact number of backlinks. It is showing 29 backlinks, while Yahoo Search Explorer shows 130 backlinks.

However, having said that, it shows some useful information like page rank of backlinks, number of external links on that, whether it a outbound link or not.

 

You are right. I just checked it. It doesn't show the exact number.
Nevertheless it is good.

I have checked all the tools & I am not impressed with any one (in terms of number of results it show). All of them show incomplete results. Anyways Thanks everyone.
