What The Hell Am I Doing Wrong!?

    Hi there..

Im new to CJ, and have chosen a niche I think will work best for me. I have applied to a certain offer but I got rejected immediately because I am outside the US. So i sent this particular online company an email asking them to reconsider as I will be bringing alot of US traffic via PPC. That was a few days ago. Still no reply. Here is my landing page: Click Here

What am I doing wrong? Is my landing page not good enough? Does it need more info? Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thanks

It's unlikey that a company will change their TOS for one person. Your best bet is to find companies to work with that will pay out to your country. This way you won't waste any time or money on a campaign that you won't get paid on.

I would agree with you but I have heard this is a common happening that can be easily overcome with a simple email to the advertiser

It's worth a shot, but don't expect every advertiser to let you in just because you email them.

You landing page looks fine, give the affiliate rep at least a week to get back to you.

What advertiser is it? And what country are you from?

I've had 50/50 luck with emailing advertisers that have auto declined me. Some of them were really cool and let me in once I explained that all my traffic was from the US or UK or whatever. And some were just stupid and didn't get it.

If you really want to get in with Blockbuster, it might be worth seeing if they use any other aff networks other than CJ. Sometimes an advertiser's location restrictions differ depending on the network they're using.

Some advertisers deny anyone who doesn't have enough "green bars" (or whatever CJ call them) - since you're new to CJ, maybe you need to earn your CJ stripes:

... are you trying to apply to "Blockbuster Total Access" ? They're listed as "Advertiser expired" in my CJ advertiser list - so maybe they've pulled the plug and are auto declining all new publishers?

    Hello Dylan,

For me, it depends on the Affiliate Manager/Person in Charge for the Advertiser itself.
I've appeal 3 times and waiting for 5 working days for relationship..

hahaha..what to do bro..try again to email them and try to explain how you gonna promote their products / your marketing strategy.

Maybe you can make a simple blog on the specific Advertiser's product and tell them nicely.

    Just a piece from me..

    Good Luck bro..

I noticed Blockbuster is also listed at http://clickbooth.com/
Haven't used them myself but they might be worth a look.

Where is this indicator? Is it on the home page? I don't recall ever seeing it. Maybe I just did not know what it was for? Now I have to go take a look.

    TomG.

PS - I have been approved for over 100 vendors, but I have websites targeting their demographic full of content and am in the US.

It can take a while to hear back from an affiliate manager, so give it a week or so.

If they still say no, get on the phone. Just call Blockbuster and ask for the affiliate manager (grab their name from CJ if possible). This will demonstrate that you are serious and give the manager a chance to get to know you a bit.

    Otherwise, go for Netflix ;)
