embedding code of youtube

Hi Expert,
We have embed the code of videos from youtube.The video are displaying and working fine but when the video is getting clicked , the site is getting redirected to youtube.com. we want to disabled this link.That is,we want to embed the code from youtube but we dont want this link.Please advise us how to remove this link from the embedding code from videos of youtube.

I am pretty sure there is no way to disable this link. It is embedded into the code of the SWF file you are embedding, so it can not be modified.

If you wanted to get really tricky, You could make a transparent 1px by 1px image, then create a div that covers the entire youtube video ACCEPT for the navigation buttons (play, pause, volume, etc) so that when people go to click the video, it wont click the embedded element.

But let youtube have their traffic

I think hes just trying to embed youtube videos, not host his own content. Unless he can link directly to the flv hosted by youtube with that.
