I found a link bank called connectcontent.com . The way it works is you make posts with a minimum of 150 words using someone else's title and anchor text this person is called the linkee.you are the Linker.you then request posts with links to your web sites after you have made several deposits into the "Link post bank". The bank(connectcontent.com) keeps track of who has more posts and then links to their web sites when you have more links to your website then links to other web sites you become a negative and your requests for more links will not be posted on the web site. The site rewards posts with a high PR rankings. I have found the site interesting.I have only been using this site for about a week now and founded to be quite useful the owner is very helpful and wants you to have a good experience at his website. The cost is $12.00 per month. I have posted both affiliate and none affiliate links in my signature. Any questions about the service please post your questions here I will be more than happy to help you out.
I would avoid such a service. Since you are promoting those links in your signature, I assume you are more involved with the website than you claim. With a system like that it would be very easy to end up linking to a bad neighborhood website or at least to websites that are not relevant to your niche. Such links could end up harming your rankings.
I am curious why do you think it gets you banned? Isn't it similar to any other link exchange scheme? I heard about this site before but wasn't convinced and did not join. But I still would like to understand what exactly is the problem with such schemes.
More information is required to be able to evaluate this properly But it sounds like it would be banned sooner or later. I have noticed that links are not always performing as well as they were and it seems to me penaltys might be easier to get than they were before
vansterdam- If I own this website because I put it in my sig , then you must own those Credit Card companies in your sig!!or If you were stupid enough to APPROVE a link from a BAD website then you deserve to be smacked around by google. I'm not that stupid, are you?? Cbrooker- If google doesn't like me writing unique valuable content about other sites with links to those other sites, and hoping that someone will write unique valuable content about mine (not the person I wrote about), then why would they give any credit to back links? grumpyb- What do you want to know? I have been using the service for a little while. I think it is exactly what google wants people to do. You find websites that you WANT to write about that are directly related to your website and write about them. I have read the TOS at google and have not been able to find anything against the TOS. That is basically what a web review site is. !nd!an- That was a waste of a perfectly good post. If you don't have any thing to say...Don't say anything.
I'd doubt he's the owner. Although I don't know why you would post the non affiliate link in your sig.? But I don't think its a scam at all, as an animal has listed it on there site as a recommended resource for links, Which I feel is pretty credible(and I am not an affiliate). I am actually considering Joining myself.
I have seen in the past where people have given me the choice and I have thought more of the person, to give me a choice. I wanted to earn some respect, by doing the same. Instead I over estimated the intelligence folks here. Pardon me, I will avoid such actions in the future. I will try to be "just an asshole w/ a negative attitude"...Crazy Rob
LincolnAve - I think folks were wary of spammers and you ended up in the wrong end. chill out I've heard about this service and was contemplating to join. But right now I have only one PR3 and couple of PR0 sites. Not sure if I should wait until I have many sites before joining. Does this program favors webmasters with many sites? pls pm me your affiliate link. would be happy to use if I decide to join
