Paypal - Can this be done?

    G'day All

I do not currently own a website, however I want to know if the following can be done.

Through my PayPal account, am I able to set up a payment capturing page, that I can place as a link in emails to my clients?

At the moment, I am simply just providing them with my email address, so they first of all, have to go to PayPal, Login, then make a payment to my account by manually entering in the price.

What I am hoping to do, instead, is set up some sort of paypal payment capturing page for my product prior, so instead of me sending my client my email address, and hoping they log into Paypal. I simply provide them a link, which opens up a Paypal Page, which is linked to my account and has the price already pre determined. All the client has to do to authorise the payment, is to log in via that page and it processes the payment automatically.

Is this possible, and if so, how is it done?

    Cheers

    Greetings from Adelaide!

This could easily be done using a PHP script. I am not aware of any arrangements from within Paypal.

    Hope this helps,

What site is it? You could setup a basic membership system that has automatic billing.

I dont have a site, that is the thing.

For example, say that I was a Charity seeking donations, and I was posting on a relevent forum seeking donations. I could simply place my PayPal account email on a forum thread, however I am then depending on the person being bothered to go to PayPal.com. log into their account, find the appropriate page to make payment, enter in my account and donation amount and authorise payment.

Instead, What i was wanting to know, was if it would be possible to set up a Paypal Page prior, and place a link to that PayPal page on the forum. The donater could then click on the link, which opens up a PayPal payment page, linked to my account. The user simply has to enter in the amount and then authorise the payment by loggin into their PayPal account through that same page.

Obviously this is just an example.

You can set up donation button or other kinds of payments if you have a premier or business account. You can use that code on a website or anywhere that you can place code. Look under merchant services.

It depends on the forum rules. I do not think it violates Paypal rules.

Could you add a Paypal button on this forum, or is that against forum rules?

Yes, you can add Paypal button to this forum.
I have seen some threads before which used Paypal button.

Also you can place Paypal button in Email id.
You can get the code in your Paypal account.
