What camera did you use to capture the images? or is it the cell phone camera?? With professional grooming, you too can become another Timmy of dp fame. Keep it up...
OMG the vamp has mad skillz... I liked your water macros, your eyelashes were creepy, your cousins are cute, your sunrise needs work and your light balls are awesome!
Cell Phone (Nokia n82 = 5MegaPixels with a Xenon Flash) Light Lol .. I'm SHINY . and btw vibi, These sunrise photos were taken from a car @ 100kms/hr . Thx
first impression: pretty darn good considering you were using a Nokia and not a Nikon 1st 2 of your BC would have been better if you would have been able to nudge then blanket some to see the face a little more; but I realize such adjustments are not always possible! shadow & street are good ideas but lack something I can't exactly put my finger on. I am fascinated by the shadow, specifically the shapes contained within it. I think the clutter of the fence detract from it though (slightly). The right part of the shadow reminds me of the tiny Alien in the movie of the same name! Empty Street is lacking maybe a subject? You say just an Empty Street and I say yeah? so what?? also it's a little blurry, prob some camera shake. Just A Man - great street shot. Cat - no LOL??? Water Macros - very hard subject to capture. with a camera phone that becomes 10 times harder b/c you have a lot less control. None more so than macro focusing. It looks like in the 1st 3 you are too close to achieve proper focus. The ones following are much better, you were able to freeze the action and get sharp shots. The 4th one is especially cool, looks like a mini perfect storm, nice action. the one that looks like an icicle is wicked too that's all I have time for now. good stuff, enjoying them thus far
I like your photos. Some of the Water Macro looked like mercury.. btw, that sunrise is cool and has beauty. Do you live in far country??
Thumbs up to you..Its good enough..I will make some of my own....I really like to have a gallery like those but i dont have enough time..
The new water shots are a trip. Were they taken in a shower? I'm wondering if you could put a black sheet on the tile and that way you might be able to get better *separation between the drops and the BG (Background). *you would be able to see the drops better. the only caveat to that would be that since you are so close to the sheet, it might reflect the flash depending on the material being used. something to think about though
this one, The Door eye, is that like a door's peephole? nice job noticing it as an interesting subject ;-) I also like the 'Doll' and the accompanying - good use of natural light in both cases. Always try to utilize natural light but by the same token don't sacrifice a good shot - use the flash if you need to. Often overlooked is using "fill flash" whereby making the flash fire in a brightly lit scene (like outside on a sunny day). If you are taking a pic of a person where the sun is behind them and you don't use a flash...chances are their face will be underexposed. In that case you'd want to make the flash fire so that they are exposed properly. I love this one, what are they on to reflect so cleanly? you got some good colors with the sunrise. Looks like you did a pretty good job varying the composition. Also it looks like you tried to minimize the clutter (power lines and the like). This one is a bit awkward in that the post is such a hard line and it divides the frame. That one is prob the worst of the bunch but keep up the good work. One of the intangibles of taking good photographs is having an eye for it. It looks as though you have a good eye in that regard. Toss that in with a little edumication and you'll be well on your way
Nice Work there, Really Love The Sunset Once And Water Macro, I must Say N82 Rocks With The 5mp Cam, All Those Pics Are Taken From N82 Or Only Some of Them
