How can you meet the W3C Web Standards?

Ever run your site on the W3C Markup Validtor?
Did you get 100s and 100s of errors?

Don't panic, because it's nothing new! Uploading new themes and applying new styling can easily make your website almost unreadable to Search Engine Crawlers!

You wouldn't want that because if even the crawlers don't understand your SERPs will take a plummet!

So, make your website Web-Standards compliant today! And you don't need to pay $100s of dollars when you can do it yourself :)

Make your website W3C Web Standards Compliant!

Learn the w3c web standard and try to code complying to the standard .
I am good at coding (x)html anc css .
I can valid my html markup for 100% .
However 100% css valid is rather difficult for me at present.

I think its nearly impossible to reach 100% because if you have multiple pages you are bound to find a standard error.

I have to disagree with you, rjd.

If you know how to code properly, all errors can be fixed. I, for example, usually check my sites using http://validator.w3.org and fix any errors listed by it (if any).

    It's not impossible at all.

If you know what your doing you can get 100 % html and css easily. Is just a matter of experience.

I'm talking about the whole site. When people post image's or html it's bound to go wrong somewhere.

It's not hard to make a compliant site it's hard to keep it that way ;)

Yep you should make it to parse the posts and make it compliant. But I think were going a bit off topic now :D

lol talk about the thread gone off topic :p

I've outsourced my W3C Standards Compliant "fixing" to other web-masters for about $10 and they fix all the errors. I just don't get how you can fix those 100s and 100s of errors!!

    rather spend the $10 :p
but perhaps after reading your post I might get a better idea ;)

lol yeh true but it's not done on purpose, I've got basic understanding of CSS and HTML all that, and I would edit a file here and there, but every week or so I check the markup page and get 20-30 errors

and everytime it hits 100, I go get it fixed :D
