Does it improve your rank on google when users click on search results links. Google calls a javascript that passes the url being clicked and tracks it.

No, it doesn't. The amount of times a user clicks on your site doesn't effect the SERPs at all.

Of course not, otherwise this would be abused by automated scripts.

No :) I was trying either on Yahoo/MSN and is not improving you anyway :) on Yahoo it may even effect you negativly. Like Yahoo is very smart, and you can't get 1 000 000 people from Yahoo to your website from the first month. For example , i was huting the keyword "free php scripts" and in the first month after reciving 200 hits from Yahoo , i was dropping down from serp, next month... i was reciving around 400 and dropping down again ,lol... Yahoo is trying to protect theyre serps against spammers?!

There is not any relation between your rank and click through your site on Google result.

If by click on search results links, Google improves your rank then there isn't any need for any SEO. And nobody invest any money in SEO related stuff.
